We have been farming some of the same farms our family has been farming for over 100 years! Matthew is a fifth generation Iowa Farmer, farming since 1998. Matthew graduated from Iowa State University in 2001 with a degree in Agricultural Business. Matthew is President of MNB Farms LTD and has spent many hours on the farm developing winning situations involving drainage and tile agreements and projects, cattle feeding scenarios, cash rental arrangements, hog and cattle manure usage, and day to day management of a farm.
Matthew held a farm equipment sales position while farming from 2001 until 2005 when he left that position to farm full time. He has had several leadership positions on the Kossuth County Farm Bureau Board and State Farm Bureau including County President, County Vice President, and County and State Voting Delegate. The Bormanns are the 2013 Iowa Farm Bureau Young Farmer Achievement Award winners. Nancy is an elected Kossuth County Soil and Water Commissioner. |
